This also applies to scrolling. With this I can get rid off tons of hacks and misbehavior.

Thus moving away from the leader key and being more in sync with the default C-x
which I'm already using.

Apparently soria's `soria-theme-purple-identifiers' does not behave correctly
with the HTML exported of org-mode. This took me way longer to figure out that
I'd like to admit...

I have some stuff that I've built locally, and in those cases I'd prefer GNU
Emacs not picking the first stuff that it sees, but instead pick the newest
file, even if that involves stating which file is newer and so on.

In particular, abbrevs.el and early-init.el also need to be symlinked upon installation.

This file will be used by GNU Emacs 27 and later and it be loaded way before
init.el kicks in.

There were two variables that were long removed from GNU Emacs (since 24.x, I
think). I was setting them anyways and the byte compiler was complaining about
it. I used to ignore this warning, but now I want to play nice.
Moreover, since upgrading to GNU Emacs 27.x I've noticed that sending emails was
broken: it was not able to figure out the GPG key from which to sign
emails. I've fixed this by directly telling `mml' which key to use.

The font detection was based on the window system, which utterly failed when
starting up on server mode. Thus, we should use the `system-type' variable
instead.
Moreover, I'm taking this oportunity to create two new constants which are
convenient to check the two supported OSes, and I'm also checking the OS at the
very beginning.

the ugly `diminish` calls that never actually worked.

GNU Emacs 27.x no longer requires the call of `package-initialize`. We can skip
this call from now on.

Subdirectories inside of /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp are automatically added
inside of the `load-path` variable. Thus, there is no need to manually include
it again.
