| | | | | | | | | The Lisp section has been moved to the very top, so I can use use-package since the very beginning. Moreover, I've added the following packages: move-text, git-timemachine and hl-line. Last but not least, I explicitly disabled the ring bell. Signed-off-by: Miquel Sabaté Solà <msabate@suse.com>

* Use emacsclient as the default editorMiquel Sabaté Solà2019-01-244-3/+22
| | | | | | | | | I've created a special emacsclient-a-nw executable script which should suffice for places like the gitconfig or bashrc. The good thing about having emacsclient as the default editor, is that then you gain Magit, for example, when writing `git commit`. Signed-off-by: Miquel Sabaté Solà <msabate@suse.com>

* emacs: bringing back C-a and C-eMiquel Sabaté Solà2019-01-152-33/+12
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | I'm bringing back the default Emacs' bindings for C-a and C-e. The idea is that these bindings actually make more sense than the Vim ones. These caused two conflicts: 1. The `expand-region` package was already using the C-e binding. I've simply removed this package, because in these years I've never used it, so I guess it's not for me. 2. The `evil-numbers/inc-at-pt` package was already using the C-a binding. I do use this one, but I moved it into C-c +, which is similar to what I already use for `evil-numbers/dec-at-pt`. It's not too bad if I have to do it once (and if I have to repeat it there's always `.`). Signed-off-by: Miquel Sabaté Solà <msabate@suse.com>
